Join our growing Land Surveying team in our busy Cheshire, Connecticut office location and be eager to work on a wide variety of projects in the New England and New York area.
We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. We are Making Sustainability Happen.
As our new Survey Field Technician, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal
Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing boundary, topographic and bathymetric surveys and construction staking/layout
Physical Demands:
Field work and travel are expected to be a part of this position. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees are expected to perform the following activities:
- Perform line clearing, stake driving, setting monuments
- Ability to lift and/or move objects and equipment weighing up to 60-70 pounds

- The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, experience, and internal parity.

Qualifications/Education:
- Associates degree in field related to land surveying from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- Experience in land survey field work (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated (required)
- Ability to work as part of a team (required)
- Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility (required)
- AutoCAD experience (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
