ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management / lead/ coordinator for vendor outsourced projects.
- Tooling lead/ coordinator and schedule owner for NPL (New Product Launch) & tooling development projects.
- Support DFM (Design for manufacturing) studies, QFD (Quality Function Deployment), TCTF (Tool Critical to Function), FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and Simulation, DOE (Design of Experiment), engineering analysis (tolerance studies, GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility), Engineering calculations, etc.).
- Prepare WEDR (World-wide Equipment Design Review) reviews – TDRD (Tool Design Review Document) – FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), concept review, final design.
- Prepare & maintain tool documentations – Design review, technical drawings & schematics, BOM (Bill Of Material), spare parts, setup, preventive maintenance.
- Manage databases – eTRF (Electronic Tooling Request Form), ePDM (® Enterprise Product Data Management) , AME (Advance Manufacturing Engineering) design rules, tooling conversion costs.
- Capital preparation: NPL (New Product Launch) and prototype development budget estimates, calculate ROI (Return of Investment), justify to CRB (Capital Request Board), support MPS (Manufacturing production support) replication planning.
- Manage tool logistics/ shipments, and related resources.
- Manage R&D (Research and Development) & NPL (New Product Launch) budget & procurement (budget forecast, spending control & monitoring, PR justifications, vendor selection & asset transfers).
- SMEs (subject matter experts) in HDA/ HSA (Hard disk drive assembly/Head Stack assembly) assembly technologies - vision systems, screw driving, pick & place, AGV (auto gage verification), screw auto feed, auto Dycem, measurement devices, control systems, and qualified SEMI S2 (Environmental, Health, and Safety Guideline for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment) internal auditors.
- Provide guidance to local vendors to improve services and capabilities to meet factory demands.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED:
- Master Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Above 7 years working experience in related profession areas.
PREFERRED:
- Well ability to using SolidWorks software. Or any CAD model software.
- Well ability to using FEA Simulation software.
- Well ability to design control system of Automate machine.
SKILLS:
- Proficient in standard business application software, Tools & standard engineering method (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in automation equipment’s.
- Good command in English.
- Well communication skills in an international and multicultural team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- A highly inquisitive nature with an attention to detail, coupled with creativeness & innovativeness.
