Overview of Role

66degrees is seeking a Technical Product Owner / Product Architect within the Innovation team to drive the next generation of intelligent products and solutions. This role operates at the intersection of product strategy, technical architecture, and engineering execution, enabling the organization to rapidly conceptualize, design, and scale high-impact products.

You will play a critical role in translating business vision into scalable technical solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams across AI, data, and cloud engineering. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical depth with product thinking, thrives in ambiguity, and is passionate about building solutions that create measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Innovation: Lead end-to-end product development from ideation to execution, contributing to roadmap, feature definition, and delivery.
  • Architect Scalable Solutions: Define and review system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability of products.
  • Bridge Business & Technology: Translate business requirements into technical solutions while aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Enable Product Strategy: Evaluate build vs. buy decisions, assess market solutions, and contribute to product vision and go-to-market alignment.
  • Execution Ownership: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with AI, data, and cloud teams to build innovative, data-driven products and accelerators.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and bring a structured yet flexible approach to product and engineering workflows.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with a strong foundation in software engineering, architecture, or technical product roles.
  • Proven experience in system design, solution architecture, and scalable application development.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, backend systems, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience working in product-driven or consulting environments, with exposure to enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions and drive execution.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Preferred: Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or similar.
  • Preferred: Background transitioning from development to architecture to product/consulting roles.
