NVIDIA is looking to hire a Global Trade Regulatory Specialist to our EMEA Global trade Compliance team. This position will be a permanent role and is a great opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional with strong experience and training in a world class (and) growing team.
What you will be doing:
You will be working within NVIDIA’s Legal Team in the EMEA region, supporting other functional groups including: EMEA Corporate Shipping / Receiving, regional Trade Compliance teams, regional Office Managers, WW Logistics, Engineering and Sales / Marketing departments and external customers to support import/export processes
Responsible for supporting regulatory trade matters where NVIDIA is party to an EMEA transaction:
Know how to apply for various EU Export Authorizations by conducting product assessment, identifying ECCN and end destination requirements and executing license applications
Perform ECCN (Export classification) assessments on Nvidia products and assess that classification is in line with export requirements under the EU Dual-Use regime and UK Strategic Goods Controls
Review Sanctioned Party List and Legal Control Blocks in SAP GTS
Verify end-use requirements (End-user statements on certificates) on Single export licenses or open general Export licenses from the UK, Germany, Netherlands
Supports management with conducting internal audits of customs and export control related documents in line with ISO
Crafting detailed processes and flows
Address and escalate Operational discrepancies within the EMEA Global Trade Compliance team
Agile professional that also can also backfill for EMEA Operational Analyst activities, trained in NVIDIA Operations and provide guidance on all NV Imports in EMEA.
What we need to see:
A Master's Degree in the fields of Law (LLM) or Social Sciences (Master of Arts) is required.
8+ years of experience in an analytical role is required - in a high-tech environment is an advantage
Working experience with the following legal Regulations: EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions regulations, CBAM and EU Customs compliance (Import controls)
Knowledge of US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) EAR regulations is highly advantageous
Fluent in multiple languages is preferred.
Demonstrates working knowledge of dual-use goods application across Europe
Expertise with tariff classification of multiple regional jurisdictions and Export classification (ECCN) Assignment of products
Experience with internal and external Customs audits is essential
Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Tax / Finance, and IT departments to achieve our compliance objectives
Solid grounding of SAP GTS is essential and required for the role
