Job description

  • Planning and execute energy efficiency projects aimed at reducing the plant’s annual energy consumption and achieving established energy performance targets.
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of HVAC, ventilation, steam generation and distribution systems, fire protection systems and natural gas installations. Maintain these systems in optimal operating condition to support continuous plant operations, meet production objectives, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements as well as internal and external audit standards.
  • Act as backup for the Utilities Leader, supporting the operation and reliability of steam generation systems and other critical utilities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Mechanical Administrative Engineering).
  • English basic.
  • Experience in HVAC and steam systems, preferably with strong experience in steam generation and distribution systems.
  • Experience in energy saving projects, steam and HVAC systems.
  • Good proficiency in office tasks (MS Office), AutoCAD or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of NOM and ISO standards.
  • Problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Pareto analysis, checklists, etc.
  • Customer orientation.
  • Problem solving.
  • Quality orientation.
  • Clear and open communication.
