WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a ServiceNow CMDB Engineer, the work you'll do at LEIDOS will be impactful to the mission of the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program. You will play a crucial role in assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a ServiceNow CMDB solution.
Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes to improve asset visibility and data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective CMDB solutions.
- Establish and enforce CMDB governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB, Discovery, and associated ServiceNow modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including workflows, configurations, and knowledge base articles.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.
Integrate CMDB with other ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. - Provide training and guidance to internal teams on CMDB usage, governance, and best practices.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
As a Software Engineer Senior must have:
- Certification: Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience Technical skills: Strong expertise in ITSM processes and their integration with CMDB.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, etc.).
- Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and data integrity concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux server administration and MariaDB best practices.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - CMDB.
- Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 principles and practices.
- Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITAM, SPM, ATF, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Application Control and Compliance Verification (ACCV-V) for ensuring compliance and governance across IT assets.
- Experience with HAM/SAM processes, including asset lifecycle management, license compliance, software usage optimization, inventory tracking, and reconciliation and vendor audits.
Desired certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified System Engineer.
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
- Security clearance level: Secret clearance required with eligibility for TS/SCI

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
