Job Title: Medical Head Poland

Location: Warsaw, Hybrid (3 days a week)

Job Description:

The Medical Affairs Manager provides scientific leadership and medical expertise across Galderma’s portfolio, supporting in-line, pre-launch, and pipeline products. The role partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive high-quality scientific exchange, data generation, and medical education in line with local and global strategies.

Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs EMEAC, this role plays a key part in shaping and executing Medical Affairs strategy, ensuring compliant medical engagement, supporting clinical and observational research, and strengthening Galderma’s scientific credibility across the Polish market.

Key Responsibilities:

The Medical Affairs Manager acts as a strategic medical partner across therapeutic areas, driving scientific excellence and ensuring compliant, impactful medical engagement.

  • Provide medical expertise in the assigned therapeutical areas (Rx, Ax, Cx) to ensure high quality scientific and medical advice, education, and information to internal and external stakeholders, concerning in line and in pre-launch products and new products under development
  • Develop and execute the local Medical Affairs plan aligned with global and regional strategies
  • Deliver high-quality medical and disease-area training to internal teams
  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to support product launches and lifecycle activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs/KTLs and support scientific exchange initiatives
  • Lead and oversee local clinical projects, Investigator-Initiated Trials, and Phase IV/observational studies
  • Review and approve medical, promotional, and training materials in compliance with SOPs and regulations
  • Support regulatory, market access, pharmacovigilance, and medical information activities locally

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced life-science degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within Medical Affairs or Medical Department roles
  • Experience in leading multiple teams of directors/senior managers, and managers, but may also be a highly specialized individual contributor giving strategic direction at Global/Regional/Line of Business level
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate clinical and scientific data
  • Proven experience in medical strategy development and execution
  • Excellent presentation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • High level of written and spoken English for scientific communication
