Your Role: Technical Services Veterinarian – Pet Health
As a Technical Services Veterinarian – Pet Health, you will be part of the Technical Services team and play a key role in delivering world-class veterinary and technical support to both internal and external stakeholders across Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing product knowledge, supporting disease-state education, and enabling the commercial team to better address customer needs through technical expertise and scientific credibility.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver technical training on Pet Health products for new employees, Sales Representatives, and Customer Service teams, including training updates at conferences and events
Provide technical support and respond to escalated customer enquiries, including in-field technical product training for various customer groups
Support sales and marketing initiatives through technical input, competitor product analysis, and review of promotional materials for scientific accuracy
Manage relationships with key opinion leaders across nominated therapeutic areas and geographies
Report and investigate product complaints and adverse events in compliance with company, regulatory, and legal requirements
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Veterinary Science degree and registration as a veterinary surgeon in Australia
Experience: Previous experience in veterinary practice and/or technical roles within the animal health industry
Top 2 skills: Strong veterinary technical expertise and stakeholder engagement / training capability
Current Australian driving license
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience in companion animal veterinary practice
Prior veterinary / technical experience in the animal health industry
Experience supporting commercial sales and marketing teams
Ability to analyse competitor products and market technical positioning
Experience managing relationships with key opinion leaders
Additional Information:
Travel: Up to 50% annually, including local and interstate travel for field visits, stakeholder meetings, conferences, and company events
