As a Transportation Analyst in the Project Management and Implementation space you will be empowered to make a difference in the lives of Tyson team members every day. You will have the opportunity to network and influence a variety of roles inside and outside of Tyson while defining and overseeing project timelines, requirements, and final implementations.
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver technical and analytical results to support the Distribution/Logistics technology roadmap and operational projects across both Warehousing Transportation. Current objectives are focused on growth of Distribution/Logistics capabilities in support of business objectives. This position is responsible for building business requirements, process mapping work flows, product management, and managing projects within Distribution/Logistics. This will include operational applications, reporting services, and integrations with 3rd parties. Further responsibilities include identifying and documenting continuous process improvement ideas.

What you are responsible for:
Understanding current business strategies and roadmaps and evaluating existing or new technologies to address these needs.
Work with various Program Managers, Directors, and Sr Leadership to define and analyze business requirements.
Coordinate with cross functional teams to build out project plans and timelines for introductions of new systems or processes.
Assist project leads to ensure all project objectives are met and on time/budget.
Assist and prioritize various backlogs.
Work alongside training team to onboard users to new systems or incorporate new processes.
Inform and ensure KPIs are defined and adhered to throughout the entirety of a program.
REQUIRMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint. Knowledge of industry TMS systems, SAP, and other Transportation specific applications is a bonus. Project management tools such as Jira.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to both internal leadership and third-party vendors/contractors providing statuses of systems and updates in new software research and overall project facilitation. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members.
Special Skills: Creative thinking skills and organization are critically important.
Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
