We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our Supplier Quality team.

What You Will Do

  • Resolve requests from suppliers and buyers on supplier quality requirements and approved supplier issues.  Working closely with members of supplier quality, supply chain, program quality and engineering to address issues preventing material procurement.
  • Create and publish supplier quality performance metrics / data. This will include analyzing defect and performance data to identifying trends, key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in management of supplier master data such as Quality Management System and supplier scope changes.
  • Engineering review of drawings and related documentation to determine appropriate quality requirements for purchased parts

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Experience using quality inspection methodology
  • Experience using MS Office tools (excel, word)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Preferred majors would be Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy, self – starter with ability to perform work under general direction
  • Previous work experience, engineering experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in developing solutions to issues using an organized systemic approach

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
