The Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center is at the heart of our innovation, focusing on developing cutting-edge electrical solutions for our products. Our systems are vital to the full product lifecycle, supporting everything from high-tech engineering labs to critical field operations and sustainment. As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will have a hands-on opportunity to design and integrate state-of-the-art test systems using the industry's latest tools. You will be a key contributor to the evolution of our products, ensuring our systems meet technical and performance goals in a highly collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team
  • Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs
  • Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases
  • Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation
  • Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) prior to start
  • Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet assigned deadlines
  • Experience in technical writing and delivering formal presentations

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
