Job description
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Create a safety culture through productive and authorized operational systems/processes that allow all employees (including contracting partners) to provide their outputs in a risk-controlled environment.
- Coordinate all training activities in the Onboarding Hub in line with other worker required activities and overall efficiency targets for onboarding.
- Ensuring maximum capacity utilization of training facilities, timeous booking of training and completion of training in the shortest possible time period.
- Coordinating the training needs analysis, planning, assessment, moderation and compilation of training reports.
- Coordinating the implementation of the Learning Strategy within the Contractor hub to service processing operations.
- Liaising and engaging with the Onboarding Manager on delivery priorities.
- Coordinating and implementing employee and contractor worker onboarding training at the Onboarding Hub.
- Coordinating and evaluating the external training providers.
- Maintaining the accredited Learning delivery system.
- Maintaining of the support system for the learning delivery system.
- Aligning Training Material (LFI).
- Training delivery as per needs analysis and training plans.
- Moderations and audits conducted in compliance with accredited learning delivery system.
- Proactively identify training -specific challenges and opportunities and implement solutions.
- Creating a purpose-led, high-performing culture within the discipline that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity on Act as a role model and actively engage as a team member in all team.
- Ensure discipline with external (legislative, regulatory, permitting) requirements, Valterra Platinum standards, and CA&SI governance.
This role is at a GBF 6 level, reporting to the Section Manager Contractor Onboarding.
- Grade 12
- Process SME. OD ETDP level 5 Higher certificate.
- Assessor and Moderator Certificate.
- Risk Management Certification.
- NQF 6 OD ETDP Diploma will be advantageous.
- Relevant Management Programme will be advantageous.
Experience
- 5 years Process experience, including 1-year supervisory experience and 2 years HRD Experience/ Shift Leader experience. Advantageous: Projects experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Coordinating processes to implement the organisation's Learning strategy and plan at operational level.
- Understanding and operationalising all SA Skills Development legislation and regulation, ensuring implementation of intent of legislation not only compliance.
- Assisting line managers to identify relevant competencies, using the organisational framework.
- Governance of training providers and sets up processes and systems to manage training logistics.
- Setting up processes and systems to capture accurate and relevant training needs, diagnosing performance barriers and integrating to build a big picture of operational level training needs.
- Delivery and Evaluation of development activities.
You will also need to have:
- No criminal record
- Good command of English language both written and speaking
If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness test.
