Job Description
The Director of Global Tax plays a key role within the global finance organization by supporting strategic tax planning efforts by evaluating tax implications of business initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve tax efficiency. The role partners closely with internal teams, including finance, accounting, legal, and operations, as well as external advisors and tax authorities to help manage audits, assess risks, and stay ahead of emerging regulatory changes. Through this collaborative approach, the Director helps the organization meet its tax obligations while enabling responsible business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of global tax strategies, including transfer pricing policies, aligned with business objectives.
Provide guidance on tax implications of business initiatives, including expansions, transactions, and restructurings.
Analyze and support strategies to minimize tax exposure and improve global tax efficiency
Assist in monitoring tax risks and maintaining strong tax governance controls.
Maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and policies.
Coordinate interactions with tax authorities and support global tax audits and dispute resolution.
Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations to help the organization anticipate and manage risk.
Collaborate with finance, legal, accounting, and operational teams to support business decisions.
Assist with tax forecasting and analysis to support budgeting and financial planning processes.
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in compliance with US GAAP.
Support compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the tax team.
Manage relationships with external advisors and consultants.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree or CPA/CTA preferred.
15+ years of progressive tax experience, including international or multi‑jurisdictional exposure.
Experience in tax planning, transfer pricing, , and audit coordination across multiple regions.
Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax regulations, including transfer pricing, OECD, and BEPS.
Ability to interpret complex tax laws and provide practical, business‑focused solutions.
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to assess financial data and identify risks.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts to non‑tax stakeholders.
Proven collaboration skills, working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Experience working with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to support audits and inquiries.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
