Tableau Developer + SQL

Role: Tableau Insights LeadThe Tableau Insights Lead will drive the enterprise analytics vision by designing, developing, and operationalizing impactful Tableau-based insights and visualization solutions. This role combines deep hands-on expertise in Tableau and data modeling with strategic leadership to influence decision-making across business functions. The incumbent will lead the transformation of data into strategic intelligence, ensure alignment with business priorities, and mentor teams in building scalable, insight-driven reporting ecosystems.Responsibilities:Data Visualization and Insights Leadership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards that drive strategic insights and operational excellence. Collaborate with senior business leaders to identify key performance metrics (KPIs) and analytical frameworks that align with strategic goals.Data Preparation and Modeling: Oversee data preparation, wrangling, and transformation to create analytics-ready datasets across structured and unstructured data sources.Data Engineering and Integration: Manage connections to cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift and ensure seamless data integration. Implement data validation, reconciliation, and lineage tracking to maintain trust and transparency in reporting. Drive initiatives for data quality improvement and automation across visualization workflows.Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, Risk, Product, and Technology to enable insight-driven decision-making.Required Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, and Analytics, with deep expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Cloud. Advanced proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) for data querying, transformation, and optimization. Strong experience in data modeling, data preparation, and ETL design using Tableau Prep or equivalent tools such as Alteryx. Proven ability to lead end-to-end insight delivery — from data sourcing and modeling to visualization and executive presentation. Expertise in data visualization principles, dashboard performance tuning, and data storytelling techniques. Strong business acumen with the ability to link analytics outputs to strategic and operational goals. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Agile mindset with the ability to balance hands-on delivery and strategic oversight in a dynamic environment.
