Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Supervises the daily activities of patient registration and scheduling staff to ensure efficient operations. Monitors staff performance and provides training to improve skills and knowledge. Addresses operational issues and resolves any problems that arise in the registration and scheduling processes. Collaborates with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance the patient experience. Assesses staffing patterns and schedules to optimize departmental resources and productivity. Orders and maintains appropriate supplies to support registration and scheduling activities. Develops and implements a quality assurance program to ensure high standards of service. Tracks and reports quality assurance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Oversees the process for collecting fees prior to service to ensure accurate billing. Keeps abreast of insurance company changes and updates, and communicates these to staff. Provides insurance results to leadership and makes recommendations for improvements based on these results. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in patient registration and scheduling. Other duties as assigned.
