Manufacturing Line Operator - 3pm-11:30pm ($20-$26.02)

This position is reserved for employees that are dedicated to step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

1. Keep lines stocked with packaging materials
2. Fill out appropriate paper related to the lines CCP’s, production, packaging materials
3. Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment
4. Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line
5. Communicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues
6. Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention
7. Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line
8. Proper start up, running and shut down of line
9. Basic Ammonia Operation
10. Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process
11. Understand and perform basic tasks as needed within the M3 inventory system
12. Basic Votator/Perfector operation
13. Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - REQUIRED & VERIFIED

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Equipment/Software Skills:  Basic computer knowledge - data entry

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
