Job description
We have an opportunity for a Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our Canberra Quarry, situated in Williamsdale, located about 30 minutes outside of Canberra.
This position requires a candidate who can provide impeccable customer service and is confident in the use of computers.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday with up to 12 hours per day. Your current roster will see your day starting at 6:15am and finishing at 5pm. Saturday work will be according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will:
Operate weighbridge & ticketing of all out going loads
Daily allocation of Truck & Dog Fleet
Provide high level customer service to our valued customer base
Answering phones, order taking and enquires
Support a range of ad-hoc administrative requests for the site
Support Sales and Production. Requests such as:
Process Purchase Orders and Cartage Adjustments
Liaise with haulage contractors and vendors
Send copies of invoices and delivery dockets to customers
Maintain stationary and quarry documentation supply

We pay a fixed hourly rate of $42.17 on a weekly pay cycle
