Job Title : Key Account Manager Biologics

Localisation : Abu Dhabi

The Key Account Manager – Biologics is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships with key healthcare accounts to optimize sales and revenue opportunities across the Galderma portfolio.

The role focuses on building long-term, value-based relationships with key stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities within accounts, and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic account plans.

The Key Account Manager collaborates cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions that enhance patient access, strengthen customer partnerships, and support the company’s broader commercial objectives within the biologics and dermatology space.

Responsabilities

Key Account Strategy & Development

  • Develop and continuously strengthen strategic relationships with key healthcare accounts to support the company’s vision and drive portfolio growth.

  • Build and implement strategic account plans aligned with business objectives to maximize account potential and long-term value.

  • Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with priority accounts to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Identify opportunities to expand collaboration within accounts and enhance portfolio adoption.

Account Management & Business Growth

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, business objectives, and performance KPIs.

  • Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts, building long-term partnerships with key customers and healthcare institutions.

  • Analyze account performance through regular reviews of sales data, market trends, and forecasts to identify opportunities for growth and improved efficiency.

  • Gather competitive intelligence and market insights to support strategic planning and enhance account performance.

Patient Journey & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Map the patient journey within key accounts to identify barriers and opportunities to improve patient access and outcomes.

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within accounts.

  • Develop comprehensive stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies to strengthen partnerships and drive value creation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Training, Supply Chain, Finance, and other enabling functions to support account strategy execution.

  • Act as the central point of coordination to ensure a unified “One Galderma” approach toward key accounts.

  • Mobilize internal resources effectively to support account growth and customer engagement initiatives.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop clear action plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve account objectives.

  • Drive the execution of account strategies while continuously monitoring performance and adapting plans to maximize impact.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all interactions with healthcare professionals comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Adhere to the Galderma Code of Ethics, applicable industry codes, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Maintain full compliance with internal policies governing customer engagement and promotional activities.

Market & Scientific Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the biologics and dermatology therapeutic landscape.

  • Stay informed on market developments, competitor activity, and emerging trends affecting key accounts.

  • Ensure strong medical knowledge related to the disease area and the relevant therapies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, preferably within biologics, specialty care, or dermatology.

  • Proven experience managing key accounts or institutional customers within the healthcare sector.

  • Strong understanding of hospital systems, treatment pathways, and stakeholder dynamics within complex healthcare environments.
