Job description
As a Hardware Customer Project Lead, you will be at the center of customer-focused hardware development projects within the automotive domain. You will act as the key interface between customers and Bosch’s internal teams, ensuring technical excellence, cost transparency, and reliable project execution from concept to delivery.
Working closely with software, systems, hardware development, and project management teams, you will coordinate international and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and Bosch standards.
Your contribution to something big:
- Leading hardware-related project activities in close collaboration with software, system, hardware, and project management teams
- Serving as the main contact for customers worldwide, aligning on project targets, milestones, and expectations
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders including management, sales, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, controlling, and system engineering teams
- Planning, tracking, and reporting project status, costs, risks, and deliverables to customers and management
- Managing hardware project planning, task coordination, and cost tracking
- Planning, tracking, and releasing hardware changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting electrical, EMC, and environmental validation activities
- Applying project management methodologies such as quality, change, and risk management to ensure sustainable project success
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
Experience
- Proven experience in leading or managing technical or hardware-related projects, ideally within the automotive industry or a comparable environment
- Experience working in customer-facing project roles is a strong advantage
Know-how
- Solid technical understanding of hardware development processes
- Confidence in applying project management tools and methods
- Motivation to analyze and solve complex technical and organizational challenges
Languages
- Fluent in English
- German language skills are desirable
