Senior Data Analyst

Job Overview

• Senior Data Analyst responsible for building scalable Power BI solutions to analyze duplicate encounter data and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to design data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks supporting data governance and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with HIM, data governance, and operations teams.
• Analyze data structure and quality, specifically focusing on duplicate encounter extracts.
• Design and build Power BI data models capable of handling large datasets efficiently.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to identify duplicate patterns, encounter groupings, frequency, and severity indicators.
• Implement dynamic filters including facility, date ranges, encounter types, and risk levels.
• Build automated data refresh processes and validation logic to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate and refine dashboards for usability and insights.
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Skills And Expertise

• Strong experience with Power BI data modeling and dashboard development.
• Expertise in handling large datasets and optimizing performance.
• Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills.
• Experience with data governance and healthcare data (preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience working in data analysis and reporting roles, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments.
