Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. Learn About A Day in the Life of a Virtual Nurse: Responsibilities Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface. Must be able to manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians and other staff via remote platforms. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications Job Requirements: Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing Candidate must live in the state of Texas Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface.
