Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available. Responsibilities The Exercise Specialist is responsible for providing a safe and effective exercise environment for Olympic Center members and guests by supervising individual exercise programs, educating the individuals who are exercising, assisting with the establishment of individual exercise programs and assisting with the implementation of medically integrated fitness programs. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: Associates degree in Health and Kinesiology or related field. One year of experience in health/fitness/wellness.
