Overview Join our Truss Production Team as a Sawyer ! You’ll safely operate saw equipment to cut rough lumber into truss components for roofs, floors, and wall panels, following shop drawings and production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards. Shifts- 1st and 2nd Key Responsibilities Cut lumber accurately according to cut lists and shop drawings Measure and mark lumber to ensure precise cuts Inspect lumber for quality and defects before cutting Label and organize cut materials for truss builders Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on saw equipment Work with the team to meet daily production goals Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or lumber handling preferred Ability to read measurements and follow cut lists accurately Comfortable operating industrial saws and power tools Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and safety, dependable team player Benefits Paid training Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) with company match and profit sharing Career growth opportunities 84 Lumber is a family- and woman-owned company, one of the nation’s leading suppliers of building materials and manufactured components.
