New grads will have 6 months to pass registry. Experience with adult echocardiography techniques Strong patient communication skills What You'll Do 🌟 What You’ll Do: Perform high-quality echocardiograms using state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment Collaborate with cardiologists and other care providers to ensure accurate results and exceptional patient experiences Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction Maintain imaging standards, follow safety protocols, and continuously expand your clinical knowledge What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, preferred. Experience: 1 year preferred. Licensure/Certification: Registered Cardiac Sonographer, credentials RDCS or RCS (New Graduates will have 6 months to pass registry), required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment. Ability to evaluate echocardiogram in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information. Ability to shift workload to meet patient needs. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum echocardiogram information in each examination performed. Ability to follow established departmental procedures. Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situations. Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of echocardiography interpretation, echocardiography skills, and considerable echocardiography abilities. Communication skills and sensitivity to patient needs. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
