Job Summary We are seeking a Director, Product Owner to lead the strategic execution of a critical product domain within our platform. This is a senior individual contributor and leadership role; you will own the product backlog, shape the roadmap in partnership with Product Management, and drive cross functional delivery across global engineering teams. You will serve as the connective tissue between our clients' most complex needs and the engineering capabilities that solve them, while also managing and mentoring a team of Product Owners within your domain. Responsibilities Own and prioritize the product backlog; lead sprint planning, grooming, and release ceremonies across agile squads Partner with Product Management to define and communicate the domain roadmap to engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders Maintain deep client relationships to surface needs, validate direction, and support pre-sales and escalation conversations Drive on-time, high-quality delivery; proactively resolving dependencies, blockers, and cross-team conflicts Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Owners ; establish backlog and agile best practices across the team Champion product differentiation in the alternative investment space; recommend process and policy improvements that increase velocity and quality Partner with Product Management leadership to translate the multi-year product vision into a structured, prioritized roadmap for Allvue Identify market opportunities and competitive gaps in the alternative investment software space, championing product differentiation within Allvue Partner with Engineering for on-time, high-quality product delivery; proactively surface and resolve dependencies, blockers, and cross-team conflicts Partner with Product Management for deep, ongoing relationships with key clients and prospects to surface needs, validate product direction, and build trust in Allvue's delivery Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Owners, building a high-performing, accountable product delivery function Requirements • 18+ years of product ownership or management in enterprise SaaS; 5 + years in a senior or lead capacity • Domain expertise in alternative investments, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, CLOs, or fund administration strongly preferred • Expert command of Agile/Scrum; strong hands-on experience with Jira, Product board , or similar tools • Ability to engage credibly with product managers on customer requirements and market needs. • Ability to engage credibly with engineering on architecture, APIs, and data models without writing code • Familiarity with investment workflows: fund accounting, portfolio monitoring, compliance, trade order management, or investor reporting • Experience with WSO, Allvue Everest, eFront, Geneva, or comparable platforms is a strong plus • Exceptional communicator equally effective in an executive roadmap review and a sprint retro Education/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field preferred; Master’s degree a plus What We Offer Health Coverage options along with other voluntary benefits Enterprise Udemy membership with access to thousands of personal and professional development courses 401K with Company match up to 4% or Employee Pension plan Competitive pay and year-end bonus potential Flexible PTO Charitable Donation matching, along with Volunteer and Voting PTO Numerous team building activities to promote collaboration in a fun and fast-paced work environment EEOC Statement Allvue Systems provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment.
