As we continue our growth and transformation in the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, As our Senior Performance Management Analyst, you will join our Nominal Insurer (NSW Workers Compensation) function in this newly created leadership role, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of business performance is achieved with respect to recovery and return to work outcomes. Reporting to the Operations Manager – Technical and Specialist, this role provides a unique opportunity to bring your technical and coaching experience, to improve and drive quality performance and outcomes across the function. How you'll make an impact Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and in-depth reviews of various business areas in order to provide recommendations to the business relevant to enhancing claims performance; Promote best practice claims management and support a continuous improvement focus on proactive intervention and innovation; Analyse identified target areas to assess trends and recommend remedial action to resolve issues, ensuring strategies are implemented and desired outcomes and KPIs are achieved; Engage with key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate strategy, business plans and initiatives; Contribute to the achievement of business plan goals aligned to dominant priorities; Support achieving target remuneration in performance measures through improving claims management outcomes through developed strategies; Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency of processes within teams, with a view to improve operational controls and performance; Monitor ongoing project strategies and risks, to ensure sustained improvement and compliance within the business; Provide leadership and direction to support the integration of Risk Management protocols within the business; Identify and proactively report risks which may adversely impact on the business. About you We're looking for: Significant experience in the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, with strong working knowledge of performance measures and metrics; Demonstrated experience in team management or leadership/coaching capacity within a workers compensation setting; Knowledge of general business and administrative practices and managing cost effective business activities; Experience in managing performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders; Strong coaching and influencing aptitude; Exceptional time management and organisational skills; A strategic mindset and approach to work; A strong sense of team and collaboration; A resilient attitude.
