SR. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Primary Purpose of the Job Responsible for supervision of construction works executed by contractors to ensure Department's assigned projects are constructed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, engineering design, QHSE standards & specifications. Oversee and provide guidance and advice to Construction Supervisors in review of construction method statements, material submittals, Commissioning and handover to end users. Responsible as performing authority for Permit to Work by the Contractors. Required Experience and Skills 1-Fifteen (15) years minimum construction/installation related experience of which ten (10) years in oil & gas industry. 2-Good knowledge of construction related standards and QHSE awareness. 3-Good ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, lifting/erection plans, construction schedules and drawings. 4-Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to construction activities and suggest solutions. 5-Good communication and report writing skills. Educational Qualifications B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or Diploma with extensive construction management experience.
