Job Summary The RCH Department of Medicine is looking for a full-time clinical Hematologist. The successful candidate will be part of the Hematology group practice and will provide services as determined by the needs of the clinical group. This will involve providing coverage for the consult services as well as the Hematology outpatient clinic. They will provide teaching for learners in the form of medical students, residents and fellows and take part in educational and administrative activities. Further clinical details can be discussed with interested applicants. This position offers the opportunity to practice as a Hematologist in a tertiary care academic centre. The candidate will also be expected to be involved in teaching in General Hematology. They will be expected to participate in Journal Clubs, Rounds, and other academic endeavors. Anticipated Start date: July 1, 2026 Compensation: Fee for Service. Qualifications: Must have passed the Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine. Must have passed (or plan to write in Fall 2026) the Hematology exam. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills in a healthcare setting. Must have clinical and teaching experience in an academic center and be eligible to apply for a clinical faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia. Leadership, medical administration, and/or teaching experience are considered assets.
