2431 - Asphalt Paver Operator

FNF Construction is hiring an Asphalt Paver Operator for a project in Farmington, NM! We are seeking a journeyman-level Paving Machine Operator with at least 3 years of experience safely performing paving operations. Performance of routine inspections and completion of daily equipment status reports for assigned equipment and referral of any detected defects or repairs to supervision is required daily. The operator will work in and around active heavy machinery and possibly around live traffic. Must be willing to help with other duties as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position. Monitoring and adjusting machinery to ensure proper operation Inspecting machinery for any malfunctions or required repairs Ensuring that the laid pavement is smooth, even, and finished to the correct depth Guiding other construction crew members in using hand tools to spread, smooth, and level asphalt or concrete Keeping the machine hopper full of mixed asphalt or concrete Setting up and tearing down equipment before and after paving operations Adhering to safety protocols and workplace policies Monitoring and adjusting machinery to ensure proper operation Inspecting machinery for any malfunctions or required repairs Ensuring that the laid pavement is smooth, even, and finished to the correct depth Guiding other construction crew members in using hand tools to spread, smooth, and level asphalt or concrete Keeping the machine hopper full of mixed asphalt or concrete Setting up and tearing down equipment before and after paving operations Adhering to safety protocols and workplace policies
