Responsibilities Manages the distribution functions of a large size operation inclusive of orders, warehousing and fleet mangement. Develops and maintains optimum delivery plans. Effectively maximise market share whilst ensuring the availability of products to drive customer satisfaction. Normally reports to Unit Mang. Applied in most Div's. Planned distribution incl. products, people, vehicles, routes & customers Managed Fleet optimisation, equipment utilisation and promotional assets Optimised stock management of final goods Analysed sales forecasts, competitor activities and formulated sales strategies Negotiated and managed trading terms, price, shelf space & promotions Managed internal/ key account/ 3rd party/ agents peformance & working capital Executed customer service delivery incl. orders, product returns, queries & cash Qualifications 5-6 years experience as Manager Distribution National Diploma in Sales and/or Distribution/Logistics and Marketing Leadership and relationship building skills People management skills Systems,procedures and systems -EG:SAP Be able analyse sales forecasts, competitor activities and to formulate sales strategies To be able negotiate and manage trading terms, price, shelf space & promotions Union engagement “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act" Manages the distribution functions of a large size operation inclusive of orders, warehousing and fleet mangement.
