Job description

Senior Associate Strategic Engagement – Aon Inpoint EMEA Rotterdam/Milan/Madrid/Paris/Copenhagen | Hybrid | Full time Are you excited by working at the intersection of strategy, data and senior partner engagement? Do you want foundational experience participating in senior leadership dialogues within the global insurance industry? This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from Aon offices across Rotterdam, Milan, Madrid, Paris or Copenhagen, aligned with local smart working policies. Aon is in the business of better decisions At Aon, we build decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As one inclusive, international team, we are united through trust and are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed. What the day will look like As a Senior Associate within Aon Inpoint’s Strategic Engagement team, you will play a hands-on role in leading and developing Aon’s most important strategic relationships with major insurance carriers across EMEA and beyond. You will operate as part of small, international account teams and work closely with senior colleagues, Aon leadership and C-level collaborators at carrier partners. Your day-to-day activities will include: Supporting and dynamically taking ownership within a number of multimillion‑euro carrier relationships Preparing, structuring and running senior-level meetings, including agenda setting, capturing decisions and ensuring structured follow‑up Analysing data such as premium flows, performance indicators and carrier comparisons using proficient Excel capabilities Translating analyses into high‑impact PowerPoint presentations for senior internal and external audiences Acting as a connector between Aon’s local, regional and global teams and senior collaborators at insurance carriers Chipping in to broader initiatives and discussions advised by data within Inpoint and across Aon How this opportunity is different This role offers an outstanding vantage point at the heart of the insurance ecosystem. Rather than focusing on individual transactions or purely operational work, you will help build long‑term, strategic relationships between Aon and its largest carrier partners. Despite being a relatively small and close-knit team of around 15–20 professionals across EMEA, Inpoint has high visibility within Aon. It partners directly with senior leaders globally, including colleagues in the UK, US, and APAC. Even at Senior Associate level, you will gain early exposure to C‑level discussions, international collaboration and strategic decision-making. The team is known as a springboard within Aon, with many former colleagues progressing into senior leadership roles across the organisation. The environment is intellectually fast paced, international and collaborative, with strong emphasis on fit, learning and enjoyment of working together. Skills and experience that will lead to success Approximately 4–5 years of applicable experience in an analytical, stakeholder-focused environment such as consulting, insurance (carrier or broker) or advisory roles Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel skills and confidence working with sophisticated data sets Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to convert analysis into clear, senior-level storytelling Strong communication and collaborator management skills, with confidence operating in an international, English-speaking environment A master’s degree or equivalent experience in the relevant industry Proficient English is required. Dutch is not required; additional European languages (particularly German) are considered a strong advantage. How we support our colleagues In addition to a competitive salary range, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and flexible working arrangements. We promote an inclusive and agile working environment that supports wellbeing, work–life balance and long-term development. Our continuous learning culture encourages you to grow, share knowledge and build capabilities that support multiple career paths within Aon. All colleagues benefit from two annual Global Wellbeing Days, as well as access to a wide range of learning, development and mobility opportunities. Aon values an innovative and inclusive environment where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. #li-hybrid #LI-CR4 2576289 Senior Associate Strategic Engagement – Aon Inpoint EMEA Rotterdam/Milan/Madrid/Paris/Copenhagen | Hybrid | Full time Are you excited by working at the intersection of strategy, data and senior partner engagement?
