Appliocation Developer

Position: Applications Developer- Web (.NET)-Sr/Project Management

Location: Lincoln, NE

Duration: 2 years

Requirements

• Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Web Development/Web Design

or hold a Technical Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent combination of

education and minimum 5+ years web development experience).

• Perform daily Project Management tasks as necessary.
• Experience leading a team of developers required.
• Experience in software development utilizing Agile with SCRUM required.
• Perform daily tasks of analysis, programming and testing as needed.
• Assist with; capturing business requirements, design, .NET architecture and

development and creation of test plans/test scripts to aid in QA/QC.

• Develop applications in MVC pattern with MSF C#.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and

XML that interact with the Department's Information Systems.

• Perform front-end, middle-tier and back-end development.
• Extremely detailed oriented and able to follow Department standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidate must work on-site at Department of Roads, Lincoln, NE.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Experience with

• Test Driven Development
• Telerik Tool set
• ADO.NET/Entity Framework based data access services using C#

Preferences

• Experience with all aspects of project management.
• Experience with application development in accounting/financial systems is

preferred, but not required.

• Experience with training Developers is a plus.
• Experience with SSRS reports is preferred, but not required.
• Project Management certification desired, but not required.
