Job Title: Engineer, Mechanical Engineering
Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer for Aftermarket Systems Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of product aftermarket information systems. After developing a solid understanding of product structures and engineering principles, this role focuses on maintaining and updating system content based on customer feedback and field issues. The engineer will support product release processes by completing scheduled database updates with high quality and timeliness. Additionally, the role provides technical support for aftermarket-related inquiries by leveraging system information and engineering knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and understand product structures, components, and mechanical design principles to ensure accurate system maintenance.
Maintain and update aftermarket product information systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Review customer feedback and service issues, translating insights into timely system updates and documentation improvements.
Support product release processes by performing planned database maintenance and ensuring updates align with engineering changes.
Ensure system content reflects the latest product configurations, specifications, and documentation.
Provide technical support for aftermarket product questions using system data and engineering understanding.
Collaborate proactively with engineering, service, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure information alignment and issue resolution.
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance system content quality, structure, and usability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong ability to learn quickly and absorb existing product knowledge.
Capacity to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, collaborative working style.
Experience with product information systems, data management, or aftermarket support is a plus.
Good problem‑solving capability and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high‑quality results on schedule.
