About the role:
As an Estimator in our Trade Services team, you’ll play a key role in turning plans and project ideas into clear, competitive costings that support confident decisions and strong customer outcomes.
Working closely with sales, operations and suppliers, you’ll help shape customer proposals and support sustainable business growth. You’ll be part of a collaborative, practical team environment that’s focused on learning, quality outcomes and Inspiring you to give it a red hot go.
What’s involved:
In this role, you’ll contribute across the full estimating process by:
Interpreting plans, specifications and project documentation to define scope
Preparing detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour and related costs
Working with suppliers and internal teams to confirm pricing and technical detail
Delivering accurate estimates within agreed timeframes and standards
Supporting sales teams with technical insight and clarification
Maintaining estimating records and cost data
Identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and value
Supporting smooth handover of successful tenders to delivery teams
About you:
You’re detail‑focused, commercially minded and comfortable working with technical information. You enjoy collaborating with others, asking questions and finding practical solutions. You take pride in producing accurate work and understand how your contribution supports customers and colleagues.
What you’ll need:
Experience preparing cost estimates in construction, building materials or a related field
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Confidence working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Comfort using estimating tools and spreadsheets
