Job description

Duties:

  • Understand the Software product functionality, software automation framework and test cases
  • Create automation scripts for the identified test cases
  • Ensure the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with the development and COE partners and stakeholders to provide the coverage and improvement KPIs

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: 1-3 years
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in Python/Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, including the ability to design, implement, and maintain test automation solutions.
  • Proficient in coding and modifying complex automated software testing programs, both at the system level and front-end applications.
  • Good experience with Version Control Systems such as Git, Subversion, and integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Good understanding on software development processes and testing methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development and testing teams.
  • Experience in using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Ability to work with various testing tools, including Selenium, TestNG, Pytest and other relevant test automation libraries.
  • Experience in writing clear, detailed test cases and maintaining accurate documentation of test results.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud Platform including deployment and security testing.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization and collaborative abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills particularly in English (fluently spoken and written) in addition to any local language spoken at the place of work.
  • The ability and motivation to persistently pursue and achieve / drive effective results which drive the business forward.
  • Collaboration and Influencing with a Global mindset, cultural awareness.
  • Proven matrix and stakeholder management skills/experience working virtually in diverse teams.
  • The ability to make effective, timely decisions in a complex, global market by sourcing and analysing critical information. 
  • The understanding and recognition of the organisation’s commercial environment and positioning themselves, their role and their actions in order to support the organisation’s commercial success.
  • The ability to engage, challenge and work effectively with others.
  • The ability to build an effective network of relationships both internally and externally, understanding their customers’ needs.
