Position Purpose

Highland Hills, a Trinity Health Senior Community, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our mission of providing exceptional care and hospitality to residents. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen environment—an essential part of ensuring high‑quality dining services and protecting residents from foodborne illness and cross‑contamination.

What You Will Do

• Set up the dishwashing and pot‑sink area prior to meal service.

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils throughout service and return items to proper storage locations.

• Maintain weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen and equipment.

• Dispose of trash, boxes, cans, and bottles in designated receptacles.

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, walk‑in refrigerators, and tile dining areas.

• Wash and maintain floor mats.

• Uphold strict sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy, safe dining environment.

• Follow established closing procedures daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Willingness to work with hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and contaminated materials following safety guidelines.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Comfortable working in high‑heat environments.
