We are looking for a Senior Events Marketing Specialist to join the team in Hong Kong.
The Greater China Events Marketing team designs and delivers client engagement programs that advance Franklin Templeton’s business strategy. Working closely with marketing teams across client segments and the Events Marketing Lead, Asia, the team plans and runs proprietary events, third-party sponsored opportunities, distributor-led events, roadshows, and other programs to strengthen client relationships across the Greater China region.
How you will add value?
Co-lead Greater China event initiatives across client segments to support business strategy
Plan end-to-end event delivery, from brief to post-event review and budget management
Coordinate communication materials, speaker logistics, venues, and on-site operations to maximize client experience
Oversee production requirements, including audio-visual and virtual delivery
Track budgets and spending, maintaining strong cost discipline
Contribute in planning and maintenance of the events calendar, database, metrics, and collaterals
Stakeholder management and to partner with internal and external organizers to deliver high-quality client experience
What will help you be successful in this role?
Experience:
4–5 years’ events management experience across small to large formats
Experience in banking or asset management is an advantage
Agency experience supporting financial services clients is welcome
Occasional light travel is required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
Technical skills:
Experience with event platforms (e.g., Cvent, ON24, Microsoft Dynamics)
Soft skills:
Detail-oriented and proactive; you manage multiple deadlines well
Communicate clearly and build relationships across seniority levels
Bring ideas that enhance the client event experience
Lead vendors effectively and stay accountable for outcomes
Written and spoken Chinese proficiency is preferred for regional coverage
