Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a Senior Logistician to join our team to support PMA-265 Finland IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment (SE), transportation and training/trainer efforts in Lexington Park, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide logistical services for the Program Management Activity (PMA)-265 Finland IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment (SE), transportation and training/trainer efforts.
- Develop LOA data; provide independent quantitative resource analysis of integration and sustainment resource requirements; assess case requirements to ensure effective F/A-18 operations and support programs; review and provide administrative and technical recommendations on aircraft configuration changes, ECPs, TDs, and provide Life Cycle Management (LCM) support services.
- Coordinates, supports and attends program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings, and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS or OCONUS, as required, to perform analysis in support of the PMA-265 Finland IPT.
- Identify and analyze issues, record action items, recommend preferred courses of action to resolve action items, prepare draft minutes of the meetings, and archive documentation.
- Supports technology transfer activities by developing required documentation, applying appropriate DoD markings, and routing packages for foreign disclosure release reviews.
- Applicant must be a flexible self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office productivity suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is desired.
Basic Qualifications:
- Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
- Education & Substitutions: Bachelor’s degree. Additional experience is accepted in lieu of a college degree (+4 years for those with associates, or +8 years for those with a high school diploma).
- Years of Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience in acquisition Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems.
- Four years of experience supervising and directing at least three logistics analysts in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or support an acquisition command.
- Technical Knowledge: FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs, familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to Procurement Requests, Work Requests, Requisitions, and Contract Data Requirements List.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NAVAIR security/ technical transfer and foreign disclosure policies is desired.
- Life Cycle Costing experience desired.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office productivity suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is desired.
Work Location: Onsite
Compensation: $98,230.00 - $147,400.00 The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
