Our team and what we'll accomplish together

The Campaign Marketing team in TELUS Consumer Solutions is a group of passionate marketers who have ownership over 1:1 marketing campaigns. Working closely with our stakeholders, our job is to craft compelling campaigns that drive strong business results. The team prides itself in delivering high impact campaigns, while rapidly responding to market opportunities and the changing needs of the Canadian customers landscape.

You will be building out segmentations from our CDP or leveraging segmentations created by various teams to use in automations and journeys. This will enable the team to deliver high impact personalized emails, SMS and MMS. Leveraging Adobe Campaign stack, you will enable the team to expand capabilities and optimize campaigns. The ideal candidate will be curious and always learning, advancing our martech stack and capabilities. Most importantly your efforts will contribute to key business metrics, sales, revenue, and customer retention.

What you'll do

  • Build and deploy creative and impactful emails using HTML/CSS in conjunction with our email deployment tools.
  • Create well designed and easy to use email templates and content blocks that can be leveraged for future deployments
  • Develop thoughtful strategies to improve email engagement rates using automation, journey builds, personalization, and other tools in our martech stack
  • Embrace continued learning and optimization by recommending and implementing A/B testing
  • Ensure campaign accuracy, timeliness, and impact by collaborating with team members and stakeholders
  • Aid in managing email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management, and compliance with policy on opt-in/out
  • Establish and maintain email best practices while adhering to TELUS brand standards
  • Proactively report on email marketing trends to provide innovative email channel recommendations

Qualifications

  • A curious mind set who likes to stay up to date with industry trends and technologies
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and Javascript for email development
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign Standard or Classic is preferred. Experience with Salesforce is nice to have.
  • Experience working with Marketing Cloud data extensions or data tables
  • Strong knowledge of email testing, accessibility and deliverability practices
  • Knowledge of Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in email development
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once to accomplish business objectives

Great to have

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, XD) skills are a plus
  • SQL to create segmentation and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Commerce/Business Administration, Marketing, Design or similar college certificate
