The Position: As a Quality Control Technician, you'll be the quality eyes on our construction projects-testing materials like concrete and asphalt, taking measurements, documenting results, and ensuring our road construction meets strict standards. You'll work outdoors at various project sites throughout Upper Michigan, learning valuable technical skills from day one.
Requirements:

Willingness to work flexible hours (construction schedules vary)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Basic math skills (we'll teach you what you need!)
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for the right person)
The Benefits:
Competitive compensation aligned with industry standards
Employer Paid Medical Plan with HRA contribution (eligibility requirements)
Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Flex Spending Account (FSA)
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Company-paid short and long-term disability coverage
Paid parental leave
PTO and paid holidays
Profit sharing
Robust Walbec training and professional development program
Ongoing career growth opportunities
