About the Team & Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Operations Specialist, based in Singapore, to join our Finance Operations team. You will have primary responsibility for the APAC region, working across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes in a fast-paced and growing trading environment. You will manage incoming and outgoing payments with a strong focus on accuracy, control, and timeliness. Working closely with Front Office, Trade Support Operations, and the Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams, you will help ensure a smooth flow of information and high-quality financial analysis across the business. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiency and automation, and constructively challenging existing ways of working while collaborating in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for the APAC region
  • Working on AP & AR processes
  • Managing incoming and outgoing payments with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Driving consistency, efficiency, and automation for regional and global activities of the team
  • Collaborating with the front office teams in a new challenging and growing environment, understanding their strategy and being ready to challenge them when/if required
  • Working closely with Trade Support Operations, and the Accounting, Treasury and Tax teams to improve the flow of information across departments and accuracy of analysis


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Quantitative studies, or another Quantitative discipline
  • 2-5 years of working experience in a similar position within a trading environment or similar industry
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables), exposure to VBA & Power Query and the ability to use AI tools is a plus
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Creative and open-minded in order to find the best possible solution for issues
  • Living in Singapore
