The IAE V2500 Aftermarket Quality Manager – AG is responsible for overseeing and ensuring quality performance across 13 Network MRO shops supporting the IAE V2500 program. This role ensures compliance with IAE contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supplier network. The position promotes proactive risk management, strengthens supplier quality performance, and supports consistent adherence to IAE Aftermarket quality standards across all network MRO facilities.

What You Will Do:

Supplier Quality Metrics

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor supplier quality performance metrics.
  • Establish and track quality indicators based on audits, quality escapes, and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
  • Compile and present monthly supplier quality performance reports to support management review and continuous improvement.

Audits & Compliance

  • Conduct supplier quality audits on a three-year cycle to ensure compliance with IAE contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify, monitor, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
  • Assess the effectiveness and robustness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Supplier Escapes Management

  • Identify, document, and classify supplier quality escapes, assigning appropriate severity levels.
  • Lead investigations to determine root cause and ensure implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and drive closure of escape investigations to ensure long-term resolution.

All Shops Quality Bulletins (ASQB)

  • Issue All Shops Quality Bulletins (ASQBs) to communicate significant quality issues and lessons learned across the supplier network.
  • Share root cause findings and corrective actions anonymously to promote transparency and prevent recurrence across all supplier locations.
  • Quality Procedures & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and update IAE Quality Aftermarket procedures to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening supplier quality performance and compliance across the network.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metric.
  • Ability to make and meet commitments, balance, and resolve conflicting priorities Strong Project Management skills. 
  • Travel: 70%

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong understanding of RCCA methodology and aerospace/MRO quality standards.
  • Six Sigma or advanced Lean Certifications.
  • Lead Auditor Certification and Lead Auditor experience.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, escape management processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of RCCA methodology and aerospace/MRO quality standards.
  • Knowledge of the P&W Quality Management System
  • Working knowledge of complex engine component and assemblies

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
