About the opportunity

Provide quality, person-centred Physiotherapy clinical care across inpatient care including the short-stay and medical modular units, ensuring a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach. 

  • Grade 2, 1.0 EFT Physiotherapist, fixed contract commencing 13/04/26 to 30/09/2026

  • Provides quality, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload, ensuring a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach.

  • Participation in weekend rosters essential.

  • Supportive and friendly physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team at Werribee Mercy Hospital.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • AHPRA-recognised degree in Physiotherapy with full, unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration.

  • Broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience ideally in an acute hospital setting including inpatient care.

  • Ideally minimum 12 to 18 months hospital experience.

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt, problem solve and prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner within a complex work setting.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, friendly, team-oriented, adaptable with positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a philosophy of evidence-based practice.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Current and unlimited AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
