Primary Purpose
In this role, you will develop and lead teams engaged in the critical areas of planning, design, licensing, construction, and maintenance related to Exelon's diverse energy generation and distribution systems. You will offer consultation based on your expertise and contribute to the strategic and operational decisions integral to our success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead discussions as part of the Advisor Committee, ensuring fruitful outcomes and actionable insights.
- Identify operational challenges and match them with R&D technology options, presenting viable solutions to leadership.
- Communicate clear scopes of work and project recommendations for technological advancements, focusing on requirements, costs, benefits, and risks.
- Provide dedicated engineering support for key projects like V2G and Smart Inverter initiatives.
- Evaluate and summarize emerging technologies, focusing on practical assessments that align with grid needs.
- Collaborate with grant departments and university partnerships to enhance strategic initiatives.
- Support patent efforts by demonstrating business value and coordinating legal protections for innovations.
- Lead specialized engineering projects and ensure state-of-the-art engineering credentials are maintained.
- Participate in department planning and provide expert opinions and recommendations for performance improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional engineering licensure.
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience with a thorough understanding of engineering principles.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and detailed knowledge of applicable standards and codes.
- Minimum of three related career experiences or professional engineering credentials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management Certification.
- Professional Engineer's License.
- Experience with EPRI, NETRAC, and related industry organizations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of management.

- Annual salary range: $103,200.00 - $141,900.00.
