Location Description Visalia, CA is home to 360,000 square feet of manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and office space. Approximately 250 employees work here, utilizing the latest technologies and systems, capable of producing extensive, diverse, and innovative pet food products. Visalia is in California’s San Joaquin Valley and the gateway to Sequoia National Park, part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It also has a minor league baseball team, the Visalia California Oaks, and several colleges and universities. Responsibilities Join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your work directly supports production flow, food safety, and plant operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and being part of a collaborative team. What You’ll Do Inspect incoming products and materials to ensure quality and food-safety standards are met Support warehouse and production operations by tracking inventory and staging materials Identify and escalate quality, safety, or production issues to keep operations running smoothly Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe work areas in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support daily operations Complete basic documentation and data entry related to inspections and inventory Qualifications What You Bring High school diploma or GED required 2–3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or food/beverage experience preferred Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, or quality processes is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs occasionally) Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights when needed Work around moving equipment, dust, and noise typical of a manufacturing environment Schedule *Night Shift* 12-hour shifts beginning at 6PM. Working a 2-2-3 schedule (Week one: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on. Week two: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) resulting in built-in overtime pay and having every-other weekend off. Pay: The pay range for this position is up to $23.25 per hour, dependent on experience. The pay range for this position is $24.10 to $26.31 per hour.
