Relates to a variety of personnel and keeps alert of patient flow in relation to schedule. Oversees and coordinates with the Support Associate to receive/make telephone calls and schedules cases, Position requires frequent contact and communication with others. Works under the direction of Operating Room Managers. What You'll Do Circulate for all surgical procedures in a dedicated OR Support patients through procedures in all service lines Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs Advocate for patients and ensure a smooth perioperative experience What We're Looking For Education : ASN / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience : One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification : Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required. Why Choose Novant Health?
