Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: To provide secretarial support for the volunteer programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Answers phones and responds to inquiries regarding volunteer program. Takes messages as needed Assists with recruitment of volunteers by sending out materials and forms as requested. Maintains an accurate and up-to-date data base to include number of hours served, TB screening, birthdays, etc. Maintains accurate and current database of volunteer information, to include hours served, TB screening, birthdays and special courses needed for hospice certification. In the absence of the Director, acts as a resource for volunteers and may need to secure a replacement for a volunteer who is unable to work. Accomplishes requested typing, filing, copying faxing as requested. Prepares handouts and materials for training, meetings, etc. as requested. Assures supplies and materials are available as needed for programs and day-to-day activities. Prepares monthly statistical reports as requested by Director.
