Physical Therapy Assistant - Long Term Care

A Day in the Life 

• Provides physical therapy treatment in Skilled Nursing, Acute Care, and supports in Outpatient rehabilitation as needed under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist following the treatment plan as developed by an PT.  

• As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering treatment and physical interventions for patients under a care plan established by a physical therapist. 

• Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served. 

• You will be part of a great team! You will work collaboratively with a licensed Physical Therapist along with providing supervision to Rehab Aides during clinical treatment.  

What’s Required  

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Previous clinical experience in skilled nursing setting desirable but not mandatory for this position.
