Job description
Summary Description
We are seeking a full-time, experienced, and detail-oriented Welder to join a high-performance team. This individual will be responsible for fabricating metal products based on specifications, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques, use of power tools, and the ability to test and calibrate components.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering and mechanical drawings, specifications, and bills of material
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Cut, grind, shape, and fit raw materials for fabrication
- Produce metal components as per specifications
- Fit, clamp, tack-weld, and assemble components for welding
- Measure and calculate dimensions accurately
- Perform quality checks to ensure precision and standards
- Identify and document defects in components
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Prepare assemblies for painting
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly teams as needed
- Assist with field service projects when required
- Travel up to 10% as needed for project completion
Qualifications
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented professional
- Strong work ethic with a focus on growth and learning
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience or trade school completion
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Clean driving record
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Proficient in stick, TIG, and MIG welding (structural and pipe preferred)
- Skilled in using grinders, drills, band saws, and related tools
- Experience with stainless steel and steel required; aluminum preferred
- Experience driving flatbed trailers is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical education preferred)
- Welding certifications (4F, 4G, 6G) are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.25 - $33.41 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
