Field Lead - ASME Code Welder

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Lead - ASME Code Welder to join our team for field work. As a Field Lead - ASME Code Welder, you will play a critical role in our field operations, overseeing pipe welding projects and ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards. Along with your expertise in pipe welding, your leadership abilities will be essential in supervising the team and driving project success.

Field Lead - ASME Code Welder Responsibilities

• Lead boiler repair and pipe welding projects in field locations, adhering to ASME codes and standards
• Perform high-quality pipe welding using various welding processes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring optimal parameters and settings
• Inspect welds for quality assurance, maintaining compliance with industry standards
• Supervise and mentor a team of pipe welders, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project objectives
• Utilize company-provided truck for transportation to field locations

Field Lead - ASME Code Welder Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ASME Pipe Welder, with proven leadership abilities
• Expertise in pipe welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Competency in setting up and operating welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
• Extensive knowledge of ASME codes and standards
• Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field locations
• Company truck provided for transportation
